I work with thread, memory, & the weight people carry but cannot name.
Thread chose me. After years of searching through oil, ink, resin, metal — it was the humblest material that held everything. It took time to trust this language. To stop apologizing that it wasn't "painting" or "graphics." Now I know: the slowness is the point. In a world that demands speed, image, instant consumption, I ask viewers to stop. To look at one stitch. To feel time made physical.
